J Austin Jennings was selected for The Artist's Magazine's December issue, 'Best Art of the Year' feature.  Jennings' acrylic-collage, Worldsong won 2nd place in the Abstract/Experimental category.  There were 1,050 entries in that category from artists all over the world.  The December issue is on newsstands now.

J Austin Jennings and Randy Jennings are both included in The Arts and Culture Alliance National Juried Art Show

to be held at the Emporium Center, Knoxville, TN.  The show runs from Dec 14, 2009 through Jan 29, 2010, with a public reception

J Austin Jennings' work appears at the Rosewood Arts Centre Faculty Show.

The show runs September 14, 2009 through October 9, 2009.

Smoky Mountain Visions

Works by both Randy and Jennifer Jennings were juried into a special exhibit at Tennessee's Emporium Center as part of a state-wide celebration of the 75th anniversary of The Smoky Mountains National Park.  The show opens to the public June 5 and continues through July 30.

Top 40

J Austin Jennings' collage pieces, Envy and Worldsong (shown above) were selected for the Knoxville Arts & Culture Alliance winter show, Top 40, a unique show in which the top 40 favorites won a space in the exhibit.  The public was invited to vote on-line, and artists from four states entered the competition.

InSight of the Smokies

J Austin Jennings' "To The Morning" has been selected as part of the juried exhibition, "InSight of the Smokies" at the Art Market Gallery, 422 South Gay Street, Knoxville, TN 37902.  The exhibit celebrates the 75th Anniversary of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  The show runs February 3 - 28,  2009.  Opening reception February 6, 2009..
